On 16th of May, TTZ participated in the final meeting of the SEA-on-a-CHIP project, one of the sister projects from EnviGuard. The event took place in Olhão, Portugal. The event aimed to increase the international visibility of the project results and those of the attending sister projects. It was also meant to establish relationships to the invited end users, authorities and other EU-funded projects in related areas.
During a visit at the Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere’s (IPMA) aquaculture pilot station (EPPO) the 3rd prototype of SEA-on-a-CHIP biosensor system was shown in “modus operandi” in situ. During the marine biosensor session of the open technical workshop of the meeting, Björn Suckow presented the latest results of the EnviGuard project.
For this technical workshop, it was submitted an abstract which was published in the book of abstracts of the meeting under the title "EnviGuard – Advances in biosensor technology for monitoring harmful algae, algae toxins & PCB" that you can read here.
